Beyond the Bump & Mum Exercise Class is designed and provided by Sam - Womens Health Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor superstar.

These classes are here to provide you with supportive community while challenging you back to exercise in a safe and structured enviroment with your little mate next to you.

How it works.

The class is a 10 week program which includes, initial class screening, education, gentle class progression and a safe place for your baby while you exercise. The class is 1 hour long with mini breaks, allowing for enough time to keep the little one content and nail a good workout.

The mat class is held in our pilates area which will have soft matting and enclosed to provide a safe area for you to exercise and with your little one.

The classes will also include relivant post partum return to exercise guidlines and gives you one on one time with a Womens Health Physiotherapist.

About Beyond...

We are a Physiotherapy clinic and Fitness Studio who have been providing Pilates class and strength classes in Tauranga for nearly 10 years. Our instructors are experienced and we cater for all levels of fitness and specialise in being able to assist with returning to exercise during or following an injury.

The Pilates class

The mat Pilates class is a gentle re-introduction to exercise post -partum, including Core, Legs, Arms and Mobility/Balance exercises, alongside specific exercises for return to more vigourus exercise.

The Strength class

Post partum Women's Strength Class - this class will also be directed by Sam our Women's Health Physio. It is designed to allow Mums confidence to return to exercise, strength training and a steppingstone for return to sport.

This class will require you to complete our 10-week Mat Pilates Class prior to registering or have a post-partum Women's Health Check prior to participating at Beyond Physio or a letter of clearance from a Women's Health Physio.
